Ultrasound

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is used to see internal body structures such as tendons, muscles, joints, vessels and internal organs. Using high frequency sound waves, the radiologist can often determine the source of a disease or exclude any pathology. Only the best ultrasound equipment is used at Desert Imaging to ensure that image quality is perfect.

Ultrasound is usually the first line of imaging in determining the source of disease. Additional imaging, such as CT, MRI, or mammography may be recommended.
